Presented by Dr. Kaplan, NMD. Dr. Kaplan earned his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. He has been serving the community working at The Source Naturopathic Medical Clinic since 2016. He specializes in helping individuals detoxify themselves from addictions, and in treating patients experiencing chronic disease. He utilizes IV nutrient therapies, applied kinesiology, and drainage remedies. He has trained in biological medicine with Dr. Thomas Rau at the Paracelsus Clinic in Switzerland. He uses psychomotor testing to identify and resolve hidden mental and emotional blockages. He interned at the True North Fasting Center in Santa Rosa. He is a member of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association. He has been a contributing doctor at The River Source integrative recovery center, providing detox support for residential inpatient drug and alcohol detox. He is also medical director at Dermaster Arizona in Chandler, Arizona.
Dr. Kaplan has a master’s degree in Mass Communication from California State University, Northridge and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to his medical career, he was a college professor, an independent business owner, a project manager, and a producer/writer for instructional design, commercials, entertainment, and training projects. He has been an instructor on board US Navy ships and was a volunteer refugee worker. He was awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the California State Legislature for his efforts and contributions to the PAL organization in Los Angeles. He has won critical writing awards at the graduate level as well as the heritage of excellence award at California State University, Northridge. He also has 50 hours of service to the Veterans Administration in Sepulveda, California. He is originally from Los Angeles.
