About the Case:

“On the Case” is a virtual, intimate, and engaging session where you have a chance to directly discuss with Sonoran alumni one of their real patient cases, patient care approaches, and the impact of naturopathic medicine on a patient’s life.

On Wednesday, July 21st from 5:30-6:30PM (MST) learn how Dr. Kimberly Volk, Sonoran alumna treated a 72 year old female who recently passed out in a grocery store and presented to the clinic with an increase in anxiety and heart palpitations.

More about the patient includes:

• Currently under the care of a cardiologist but is seeking further help
• Raynaud syndrome symptoms have been present over the last few months before arriving at the clinic
• Past medical history includes hypertension for 15 years and borderline high cholesterol
• Prescription medications currently taking:
  • 80mg of Valsartan, 2/day
  • 5mg of Feldopine 1/day
  • .5mg of Clonazepam 1/day
