Jim joins the Ric Scalzo Institute as a veteran of the consumer health care products industry, having launched hundreds of products over his career with Astra Zeneca, Johnson & Johnson, and Hyland’s Naturals. His dynamic career incudes leadership of research, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, project management, process/plant engineering, and package development. Jim received his Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Jim heads up Business Operations and Strategic Partnerships for the Ric Scalzo Institute, with an emphasis on translating botanical discovery into commercially viable innovations for our clients.
