Join Bill Chioffi, VP of Strategic Partnerships, Dr. Jeffrey Langland, Research Director, and Dr. Yalda Shokoohinia, Principal Scientist, for an exclusive tour of the Ric Scalzo Institute for Botanical Research.
On the campus of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences, the new Ric Scalzo Institute for Botanical Research will focus on the development of new botanical therapeutics including antimicrobials that are critical in this age of novel viruses and antibiotic resistance. This 4,285 square-foot Biosafety Level 2 Lab (BSL-2), a compound isolation laboratory, and a compound identification and quantification facility will pave the way for new discoveries and provide the evidence and research to advance the field of botanical medicine and natural products.
