Learning about botanical medicine with Dr. Gaines!

Dr. Gaines will talk with us about the use of medicinal plants and how botanical medicine is taught at Sonoran. ND students not only  study the use of botanicals as medicine, but also how combinations of botanicals along with other treatments (nutrition, diet/lifestyle, etc.), promote heath, prevent disease and treat illness. We will also discuss the different venues in which courses are offered including field study, lecture and medicine-making laboratory.
