Recent Recipient: Sandra Slenker

My name is Sandra Slenker, and I am currently a second-year medical student at Sonoran University of Health Sciences. I was born and raised in Ohio and completed my undergraduate studies at Ohio University majoring in Biology and Chemistry. During my time there, I conducted research in Organic Chemistry, served as a Biology Teaching Assistant, and tutored various subjects related to the sciences. Following my graduation, I earned my CNA certification and worked in an Oncology hospital, where I gained invaluable clinical experience before moving to Arizona to pursue medicine.
My experiences have significantly enhanced my understanding of the biological mechanisms that underpin health and healing, reinforcing my commitment to integrating natural and regenerative approaches within the field of medicine. My ultimate career goal is to establish my own naturopathic medical practice, specializing in regenerative medicine and pain management. This aspiration stems for a deep passion for holistic healing, shaped by both personal experiences and academic endeavors.
